Horses

Hi, I am currently updating all of the Horse Reflections and will place them here in alphabetical order as I go… Please enjoy…! ________________________

American Paint Horse   (Listen while you read)

Paint_Horse_REFON134A prancing we will go

A prancing we will go

High Ho the Dairy’o

A prancing we will go.

The farmer takes a wife

The farmer takes a wife

High Ho the Dairy’o

The farmer takes a wife.

And what does it matter if the farmer takes a wife?

It matters only to the farmer.

And this is what the American Paint Horse reminds us.

Allow yourself to be free; free from opinions.

Yes, that’s right. When we are ‘free from opinions’ we allow others the right to be free.

Simple, yes?  Yes, simple.

Too many burden themselves with opinions; opinions that hide their need to be heard and understood.

Indeed, my friends; it is our opinions that ‘give us away’; is it not?

Yes?  No?

Indeed, dear ones; our opinions showcase our knowledge, our lack, our misconceptions.

Were we to allow others the right to do as they wish without offering our opinion; what would be the outcome?

That’s right. The outcome would, in most cases, not change.

The farmer would still ‘take a wife’.

That’s right.

And we would be safe in the confines of our silence.

Appaloosa   (listen while you read)

AppaloosaHaughty; some may say.

Gentle: indeed t’is true.

Stocky; well this is not us.

Finer; indeed is true.

(I have a fine spirit, yes indeed. I have a fine spirit and love to roam, yes this is true. Why then oh why do you not let me do as I please? Why oh why do you insist on keeping me within these walls? Don’t you know that I crave for the wide expanse of space that is there just waiting to be enjoyed.? Yes, that is right my dear friend. The appaloosa personality is one that wishes to roam, enjoying all that life has to offer. Try to keep an Appaloosa personality on a leash at your own peril. They will indeed find a way to escape.

Once freed, this personality will love his freedom to the extent that his/her meanderings may take on a universal quest, so to speak. Not for the feint-hearted, dear friends; no indeed. Not for the feint-hearted. The Appaloosa personality wants more than the ordinary. More than the so-called ordinary events of life, yes sir’ee. The Appaloosa personality works best under a particular amount of ‘stress’.

Surprised? Yes?

Well, dear friends, this is indeed true. The Appaloosa personality thrives on a little adventure; a little movement; a little loving; a little sense of escape from the so-called realities of life. Realities such as; cleaning, cooking, housework; you get the drift. Yes, drudgery is not a quality that the Appaloosa personality can adjust to. To try to limit this personality to a normal/ordinary way of living will only bring disaster to bear upon you.

Therefore, you are forewarned my friend. Treat the Appaloosa personality wisely with this knowledge, and all will be well. Do not adhere to this advice at your own peril….. You have been warned, my friend.)

Arabian Horse  (Listen while you read)

Oh how I do wish they would treat me well.. I do; I wish that they would treat me as they treat all others. Why do they continue to treat me so differently?

(Is it because we look different, that we are treated differently? Does it matter whether or not we have ‘so called’ breeding? Does it? What makes it necessary to treat everyone so differently just because they look different. This has caused so much heartache, so much pain. Doesn’t the world realise that the ‘outer’ shell is just that. It is just an outer shell. Inside we are the same. Inside we suffer the same. Inside we doubt the same. Inside we are made of jelly when we attempt something for the first time. Inside we make decisions that may not be for the highest good. Inside we are made of the same gooey substances. Why oh why then do we treat everyone according to the ‘outside’? Why? I’ll tell you why. In today’s faced paced world where image is the current vogue, what really matters is lost to most. Indeed; it is lost. And what really matters? I’ll tell you what really matters. YOU, my friend. You matter. And what are YOU? You are your ‘inside’. That is right. You are your inside where all your thoughts dwell; where all your dreams abide; where all your misgivings hide; where all and sundry meet in opposition; yes, that’s right; even your opposition resides inside. Do you think that this is not true? Do you really? Well let me tell you that you are indeed two. There’s the ‘you’ that we see; and there’s the real you. Yes, I thought you’d stop to see. There’s the ‘you’ that we see, and then there’s the real you. And, which one would you like for us to recognise? The one that we see; or the one that you hide?

Yes my friends, food for thought indeed. And this is what the beautiful Arabian Horse is reflecting for us.)

Donkey   (Listen while you read)

Monkey see. Monkey do. Beat me till I’m black and blue.

My hide is tough. My head is too.

I’m not ashamed of this. Are you?

(We all have little parts of ourselves we don’t see as pretty, or engaging, or acceptable, or any number of negatives.

Were this to be true, we could all jump into the river and drown; else we get caught up in our own delusions.

Indeed, this is what we do; the majority, that is.

Yes, my friends. The majority are so caught up in concerning themselves with ‘what is acceptable’ they miss the obvious.

And, what is the obvious?

This is simple, my friends.

The obvious is just that. It is obvious.

We each have been given a uniqueness. This is obvious. This is true, and this is quantitative, to be sure.

We each have an abundance of uniqueness; no two alike; all different; all, dare we say; unique.

Allow your uniqueness to show. It must be different in order to be unique.

Do you want to be as everyone else? Yes? Then so be it, my friend.

You can confine your uniqueness in a box the same as your brother/your sister. However, isn’t it ‘their uniqueness that attracts you?

Isn’t it their particular ‘flavour’ that excites you?

Isn’t it their journey, different from your own, that entices you?

Yes, my friends. It is those very differences that attract.

Allow your differences to shine. Allow your uniqueness to be on show. This is what we would like for all to understand. Difference; excites, attracts, warms, soothes and radiates.

Won’t you allow yourself this pleasure!)

Horses (General)   (Listen while you read)

Horses, those grand and elegant creatures meant for bringing excellence into the hearts of men. Horses were and are man’s good friends. They have served man well. Have they not? Moreover, their behaviour is not foreign to man. No, dear ones, the horse has mimicked man ad infinitum, and this beauty, this might, is being usurped by the car and other such machinery. Is it not? Man has it in his power to allow or disallow many things. One is to ‘hold on high’, or to ‘make rubbish’, and this is what we see with the beauteous qualities of the horse. He is mostly forgotten, mostly forgotten.

We say to man, remember your friends, do not forsake them. Truth is truth is truth is truth. Numbers are dwindling of those who care for the horse kingdom. This brings great sadness to bear upon the kingdom, which has enabled man to survive in quarters where otherwise he would have perished; there be no doubt.

Read on dear ones, and remember the love, the grandiosity of ‘the horse family’.

(We are very fond of saying ‘what grand creatures’ when we look at the very beautifully designed horse. However, many lay forsaken in fields and groves lamenting time past. Are we to share a common goal of excitement and adventure or are we going to allow ‘progress’ to usurp our ‘connection’ with the horse kingdom? Not for some! Some remember and admire and allow the qualities of the horse kingdom to be held on high. Others are not so caring and shame is brought upon them by the cruelty they exert upon our once needed friend.

And so it is that when we are attracted to the horse kingdom we are being asked to remember the finer things in life: Friendship; community; love; generosity; comradery; happiness; the list is subject to each individual’s inner most needs. Yes, my friends, the horse kingdom has much to offer by way of friendship; kinship and a common love for life.)

Quarter Horse   (Listen while you read)

Quarter HorseStrong; this is so. Poised; indeed ‘tis true.

(May I introduce myself; I am Quarter Horse. That is correct. My name is Quarter Horse. I live in many countries around the world and grace the fields of many countries. Therefore, I am known as Quarter Horse. Why? Why am I known as Quarter Horse? I am glad that you have asked. My name originated some time ago. It was thought that certain characteristics were better for this and for that. For this reason I was ‘manipulated’, by man, to appear a certain way. This is so. Man does this. He ‘manipulates’ all things to suit this purpose or that purpose. Does he not? Indeed he does. I am the product, therefore, of man’s manipulation. I have been contrived. This I have. Am I concerned about this manipulation? Yes and no. Yes because I was not ‘asked’. And no, because c’est la vie; I am what I am. Do we not see this in man himself? He has contrived to be one thing and yet he is another. We are symbolic of man’s attempts to ‘become’ something.

Is this good or is this not good?

It depends upon the manner in which it is brought about. If man’s manipulations bring about ‘truth’ than one would think that this is a good thing. If, on the other hand, man’s manipulations bring about something which is not truth, then this would have to be considered not a good thing.

Who determines that which is good and that which is not good?

Man. Man considers his actions either good or not good.

Who then, holds the reins (no pun intended) on the ‘standard’ of good or not good?

Man.

Do you get my drift? Who is there to moderate; to bring cohesion; to assess?

That’s right. There is only man. Man determines whether his actions are good or not good.

Who is then to say what is good and what is not good. Correct; only man.

In ‘our’ eyes we simply ‘are’. We are a manipulation of man’s quest to bring about a conclusion to which they have strived.

What do ‘we’ think of man’s manipulations? Thank you for asking….. We are in agreement with man’s assertions that to create a body of certain configurations in order to acquire a particular dimension is ….. Does it really matter what we think? Would our opinion ‘matter’? Man is going to continue to ‘change’, manipulate; create; destroy; decry; all things add infinitum. It matters little what we think. We are here solely for the purpose of adding to man’s diversity of experience. It matters little.

On the other hand; our communication; our involvement; our careers have been ‘somewhat’ enhanced by the manipulation of our beings. This is true. However, as with all of man’s manipulations we are subject to a particular criterion that, once met is similarly altered to suit another whim. This may prove to be distressing for some; however, you asked and we have given.

Well my dear friends; this has been quite a journey for me. I am understanding that the Quarter horse represents man’s attempts to create as ‘he’ deems satisfactory. It must be left up to each one to determine the outcome as to whether this is good or not so good.)

Shetland Pony   (Listen while you read)

Shetland PonyI’ll have you know we can fly; even backwards if need be, hee-hee.

(Don’t believe me? Huh; I can do whatever you want of me. That’s right. I can be whatever you need me to be.

Sometimes though, you do ask a lot of me; don’t you? Sometimes you seek a little more than I can give. Yeah; sure I’m tough. Yep; that’s for sure. However, sometimes you do ask a lot; don’t you?

I’m kinda in two minds ‘bout this. You see; I do want to give you those things that you want; yeah, I do. I do want to offer myself as a giver; yeah, I do. However, I’m not always appreciated, as such.

__________________________

I am going to stop the reflection here.

By way of an explanation: Within the various species e.g., animals, dogs, cats, etc., there are similarities. For instance: Within the Family called Dogs the Alaskan Malamute has the same reflection as the Shetland Pony in the Horse Family.

To further understand you could read the Alaskan Malamute Reflection and apply it to the Shetland Pony…..

__________________________

Thank you for this. Yes, our cousins in the Dog Family have a sameness; each one a direct parallel of one of ours. This will help our readers to understand better the timelessness of reflections. Even the flowers that can be seen have their unique counterpart in the Dog Family and in the Horse Family, etc. It is really very simple; life! It is humans who think that it is complicated….! )

Tennessee Walker   (Listen while you read)

Tennessee Walking Horse(Once around the block and back again…!

I say; didn’t we meet some time last year? No! I’m certain that we have met. Oh well, if you’re sure we haven’t met I’ll introduce myself.

My name is Tennessee Walker. I am a breed of horse. Yes, that is what I am. I am a breed of horse that enjoys being a horse.

Does that sound simple? Yes! Well, be that as it may it is true. I enjoy being a horse.

Do you? I’ll qualify that: Do you enjoy being you? Yes? No? Only you can tell me the truth. Others can say what they will (and they generally do) however; only you know the truth.

I can tell those who know the truth about themselves. They only need to look at me and I can tell in an instant if they know the truth. It shines in their face; those who know the truth. Those for whom the truth is not known; well, they don’t shine.

No, my friends; we can tell. Oh yes, it’s not just me; oh no. We, horses that is, can tell the truth of everybody; that’s right.

Don’t underestimate us; no, I wouldn’t do that if I were you. Don’t underestimate our ability to see you. We do. Unfortunately for some we see a little too well; if you know what I mean? I’m sure you do.

Oh yes, we don’t mean to sound egotistical (well, not much) however; we are pretty good at that sort of stuff.)

Thoroughbred    (Listen while you read)

Thoroughbred HorseEnter a world of light and love, my dear friends.

(This is something that we would all like, dear friends, the ability to see all things through the eyes of love. However; this is not always possible. There are those who cannot do this, no matter how hard they try. They have been programmed as such, dear friends. This is not an easy concept to understand. No, not an easy concept for most to appreciate; no indeed. And why is this so? I’ll tell you why. This is as it is meant to be. Surprised? Yes? Yes indeed; for some this is certainly a surprise.

For most the only alternative is to accept the understandings of yesterday. And what were the understandings of yesterday? Yesterday we lived a myth; yes, that is right, yesterday we lived a myth.

From this point forward the truth is the means to the end that is in store for those of us who choose the new beginning.

And what is the new beginning?

The new beginning is one filled with wonder and light. That is right. The new beginning is one filled with truth, honesty and a withdrawal of fantasy.

And what is fantasy?

Fantasy is that which most live today. Yes, dear friends. We shall slowly remove the fantasy and replace it with truth.

We shall inform you of what truth is.

If you remove approximately 99.9% of today’s understandings you will have an average from which to ascertain the amount of ‘truth’ known by the peoples of the earth in regard to the truth of our existence. Should you wish for more understanding we would be more than pleased to give this to you. This we shall do through the reflections which the little one (Carolyn) writes. She will inform you of the way to love and light (as our dear ones ‘the light workers understand’ yet with clouded understandings). We await the time for all to know the truth; which shall take many a century, dear one; this is a certainty, to be sure.

The thoroughbred horse is the epitome of love, dear ones; is it not? It has garnered all of the qualities of youth; sealed itself in adoration and has been placed on the highest branch of the tallest tree. And this is that which we shall talk about as we venture forward through the reflections that surround you in the animal kingdoms…..)

  1. I LOVE horses!!! My sister just got two, or was it three, new Appaloosa horses. I am not sure how many she has now. I know a minimum of ten. I need to go have a look at them, haven’t in a few weeks. I can’t remember how many she has now because some are about 1/4 of a mile from my house in pasture and the others are near her house, less than two blocks from her house. I have lost count. Lovely post about them! I should go take pictures of the ones near my home on the way home from work tomorrow. I’m inspired. Now, let’s hope I don’t forget! LOL
