Well, hello, hello, hello….. How are ya? How ya doing? You might say we have a knack for knowing what to say.

Yeah. We’re pretty good at that.

(When in the company of a Brush Turkey type, you will feel ‘at ease’.

And, why will you feel ‘at ease’?

That’s easy to answer.

You will feel ‘at ease’ because the Brush Turkey personality is an ‘easy’ personality to like and admire.

And, why is the Brush Turkey personality easy to like and admire? We’ll tell you.

The Brush Turkey personality has a way with words. Indeed, this is true.

The Brush Turkey personality not only has a way with words, he/she has the uncanny ability to know which words to use at any given moment in time.

We all know a Brush Turkey personality. They, the Brush Turkey personality, can be seen in all walks of life, to be sure.

They can be seen digging trenches, or scaling tall buildings in a single bound. That’s right.

They can scale tall buildings in a single bound, for; most Brush Turkey personalities are ‘larger than life’.

They are ‘larger than life’ because their vocabulary allow them to scale any object, any mountainous region in which they find troubled water.

Indeed, this is also a magnificent trait to be found in the Brush Turkey personality. They not only have an uncanny ability to know what to say; they say it with ease, generosity of spirit, and joy.

Indeed. To know a Brush Turkey personality is to know sincerity.)

Picture me upon your knee with two for tea and tea for two, and you for me, and me for you alone…………

(Oh yes, my friends; this little bundle of joy will curl up on your lap, and you will be smitten by its generous nature. Indeed, ’tis true.

We would suggest that you safeguard your heart, if you wish to enjoy the presence of this little delight, for; it will certainly steal your heart away.

Yes, this is the personality of those who favour this most elegant breed of cat.

They, those who adore this little smoocher, will have energy to spare, and love to guide them.

Indeed, we speak truth, dear hearts.

This little chap and chapess, will delight you with their tales of adventure and prowess. Oh yes, my friends. Do not be deceived by outward appearances.

This cat, and those who adore them, have great stamina and stealth. Indeed, this is true.

Both stamina and stealth are required in order to pursue their multi functional love of life; indeed.

We find many such individuals engaged in relatively adventurous pursuits. Indeed; pursuits requiring health, happiness and great order, zeal and zest, if their heart’s content are to be achieved.

You would do well to listen to your heart a little more; those of you who enjoy the company of the Turkish Van; it will not lead you astray.)

Monkey see. Monkey do. Beat me till I’m black and blue.

My hide is tough. My head is too.

I’m not ashamed of this. Are you?

(We all have little parts of ourselves we don’t see as pretty, or engaging, or acceptable, or any number of negatives.

Were this to be true, we could all jump into the river and drown; else we get caught up in our own delusions.

Indeed, this is what we do; the majority, that is.

Yes, my friends. The majority are so caught up in concerning themselves with ‘what is acceptable’ they miss the obvious.

And, what is the obvious?

This is simple, my friends.

The obvious is just that. It is obvious.

We each have been given a uniqueness. This is obvious. This is true, and this is quantitative, to be sure.

We each have an abundance of uniqueness; no two alike; all different; all, dare we say; unique.

Allow your uniqueness to show. It must be different in order to be unique.

Do you want to be as everyone else? Yes? Then so be it, my friend.

You can confine your uniqueness in a box the same as your brother/your sister. However, isn’t it ‘their uniqueness that attracts you?

Isn’t it their particular ‘flavour’ that excites you?

Isn’t it their journey, different from your own, that entices you?

Yes, my friends. It is those very differences that attract.

Allow your differences to shine. Allow your uniqueness to be on show. This is what we would like for all to understand. Difference; excites, attracts, warms, soothes and radiates.

Won’t you allow yourself this pleasure!)

Picture it & write – What’s in a Mirror?

What’s in a mirror?

Shouldn’t that be; who’s in a mirror?

Why?

Well, to say; what’s in a mirror is like saying; what’s it made of.

Why?

What and who are two completely different things. What; pertains to the chemical structure, and who; um… pertains to the chemical structure…!  Um, yeah, I see what you mean (no pun intended). The what (the chemical structure), and the who (the chemical structure) apply to both. But, hold on. Who then is the ‘emotional’ side of me? Arr yeah; it’s also the chemical structure. Ah gee; the what, and the who (when broken down to the smallest common denominator) are one and the same.

Darn; I wanted to talk about the ‘emotional’ turmoil of what one sees when one looks at oneself in the mirror, i.e., the ‘who’; and you have taken that away from me with your chemistry exposé. Darn. Can I talk about the ‘who’ without thinking about the ‘what’ for a moment? Yeah? Good. I’ll talk about the ‘who’ we see when we look into the mirror.

Now I’ve lost my train of thought. Darn.

I’m realising that we can’t separate the what from the who. Darn; they are intrinsically engaged; aren’t they!

Can I start this piece again, please? Oh, come on; let me have one more try. I’m sure I could do better…….

Shih Tzu Reflection

I just want to be loved. I’ll give anything. I’ll go anywhere. Only love me. Please love me.

(The personality of the Shih Tzu is one that needs to be loved. Generally, though not always, those of us who are attracted to the Shih Tzu have spent many a lonely hour by ourselves wondering why it is that love has forsaken us. We may be in ‘good’ relationships, and yet we can feel alone and unloved. This is just an energy; one which is to be experienced (as all energies are there to be experienced).

However, this energy (that of feeling alone and unloved) can rob us of so many other experiences.

To explain: It is very difficult to ‘relate’ to others who seem to be ‘in the world’.

It can be difficult to ‘find oneself’; ‘know where one fits’, when this energy of aloneness, and feeling unloved is present.

There can be a sense of ‘separation’ from others; even though they may be as near as the next room, or even within the same room.

This is the energy of the Shih Tzu.

We, for whatever reason will (almost in every case), feel this energy within our lives when we are attracted to the very cute; the very sweet; the very loyal Shih Tzu.)

It wasn’t long before the end. Today was an example, she thought. Today there was an expectation. Today she held her breath. Was there to be a chance? She didn’t know. Was there to be a grievance? She didn’t know. Was there to be avoidance? She didn’t know. The past had had its time, and now this day was having its way. It could go many ways. It could have its way by being brilliant. It could have its way by being boring. It could have its way by being mediocre. She didn’t know.

No, life had shown her that any day had many possibilities. Each day presented itself as an offering. Each day had a purpose. The sun rose. The flowers bloomed. The animals set about looking for the morsels to sustain life. All things had a purpose.

What was the purpose of her day? Was it to be awakened by the clock; tick, tock? Was it to go to her kitchen and choose; what?

Yes, every moment of every day was a choice; a moment.

And then she saw it. Like unto a dream it wound itself around her. It lovingly held her in its embrace. Like beautiful flowers succumbing to the day, she felt the warmth of the light upon her mind. Yes, she thought. Always a choice; always a purpose.

She chose bread, buttered heavily with jam. And then; what did this day hold in store?

Her choice, she thought; her choice.

Cow Reflection

Cow Reflection   (Listen while you read)

How’s about a life, dear one?

Have you got one? Are you doing the best with it?

These are questions which you need to answer for yourself.

Don’t think that others know best.

No, dear heart; they do not.

YOU know, dear one; what is best for you.

Think. Think. Think. What, in your heart of hearts, do you really want?

That’s right. What do YOU really want?

Only you have that answer.

(You do not need to tell me, dear friend. No, it would be best to keep it to yourself. That’s right. Until you have it very clear within your own mind it would be best to keep it to yourself. Yes, that’s right.

Some of us make the mistake of telling others our innermost dreams only to have them trampled upon. Yes, this is what happens to some who share their innermost dreams. We do not want to see this happen to you dear friend. No, we do not want to see your innermost dreams treated in this manner. So, we say to you, dear friend; don’t let anyone trample upon your dreams. No, never ever allow anyone to trample upon your dreams. Keep them to yourself; that’s right. Keep them safe within your own mind until they have been formulated and going about their business becoming more and more a reality. Yes, dear friend, this is how to accomplish your innermost dream.

Now; do you understand why it is that we must keep our own counsel in regard to our dream? Yes? No? We’ll tell you. We need to keep our own counsel, so to speak, so as not to interfere in creating those things that we will need to create in order for our dream to become a reality. That’s right. Were we to let others know, before our dream has taken root, there would be a difficulty in the realisation of our dream due to the disturbance that the thoughts and opinions of others may place upon us. Indeed, we see this happening over and over again. Some, who do not keep their own counsel, are ‘led astray’ by those offering irrelevant information. This can send you on a slow decline into negative thinking. This, dear friend, can be the beginning of the end for your dream.

Think carefully before setting sail, dear friend. Think upon the manner in which you would like for your dream to end, and then you will find how to begin. Indeed, it may sound like the wrong way to go about creating your dream however; we can assure you that if you think upon the end, the beginning will become much clearer to you…. May you have as much fun with your dream as you can…)

Red Panda Reflection

Once upon a time, long, long ago, in the land of dreams, there happened to be a need for something interesting to come his way.

It did, many times, but he was so busy that he didn’t notice it, and it went away!

(So what is the moral to this story? Look around you, visit the unknown, pamper yourself with dreams and their future.

What. What do you say? Yes, I agree with you it’s hard to see the future however, if you don’t dream what good’s a future? If you don’t take that jump into life; what good’s a future? If you don’t crave for something better; what good’s a future?

Yes, we cannot know what the future has in store for us. No; this is certainly true. Does this mean that we just sit about doing nothing; thinking nothing; being without a dream?

Yes? Do you really feel that way? Then I am sorry for you my friend. I am sorry because to be without a dream is to be in a very forlorn state; is it not? Is it not a sense of destitution when we are without a dream? Yes; indeed this is true. Without our own private dream we are like ships wandering aimlessly on a sea of aloneness.

Yes, my friend. Do you want to be alone? Yes. Well this is what you shall have.

A dream; that is all it takes to be a part of the whole.

“The whole?”  I hear you say. Yes, that’s right; the whole. And what is the whole? It is that which you join when you have a dream. It is your birthright to be a part of the whole of mankind. Not alone. Not without a dream.

No, we do not wish this for you my friend. We want to see you as one with the whole; enjoying your dream; your independent dream; a dream that, if you will allow, will take the rest of your life to fulfill. That’s right.

And now; do you have a dream, my friend? Yes. That is very good. Do you have a dream, my friend? No.

Well my dear friends; it would seem that the Red Panda represents mankind’s individual need to have a dream; a purpose; a goal towards which we can work. Without a dream; a purpose; a goal, we are like shifting sand; never quite stable; never quite secure; never quite feeling the strength that we can feel should we have a dream; a purpose; a goal toward which to work.)

Dalmation Reflection

Well, seriously now. To begin…..Where to begin…..?

Is there a beginning…..?

Is there an end…..?

To have an end one must begin…

But when…..?

(Hello young lovers wherever you are; I hope your troubles are few.

All of my memories are with you to-night; I’ve had a love like you.

There are some very beautiful songs, to be sure. This song is for you, dear friend. I hope that your troubles are few…

At times, it seems as though our troubles weigh us down; do they not? Indeed; sometimes they do. However, there is always a rainbow after a storm. We must remember this as we travel life’s highways. There is always a rainbow.

You are a deep thinker my friend. This is not always a good thing, to be sure. To think deeply is certainly an art however; we do not want to get stuck in our thinking for, if we do, it can sometimes ‘bog us down’.

Our wish for you, dear friend; is that you will discover, throughout your journey of life, the means to think deeply ‘without’ bogging down. Yes, this is our hope for you, dear friend; to continue the wonderful art of deep thinking; yet without getting stuck. This we leave with you, dear friend, to ponder; not too deeply….!)

He rode into town. He was wearing it again. It wasn’t that he didn’t like it; it was just that he’d seen others wearing similar watches, and it was beginning to wear thin.

Time had let him down more than on one occasion. It was as though grief was urging him to dispose of it. Time and time again he’d tried to. He’d tried to persuade himself to let it go. What good did it do, he’d thought. What good did it do to be reminded over and over again? What little comfort it had brought him no longer prevailed; the warmth of those days was gone. Now it meant remembering without relief.

Ah well, he thought; may as well wear the blasted thing. It did look good, and father would have liked to know that it was, at least, still keeping good time.
